A single mother who had previously requested Kalam Initiative’s assistance to support her child’s therapy now faces an additional crisis. Before the therapy could commence, tragedy struck her family. Her 26-year-old brother was involved in an accident, sustaining a severe head injury that left him bedridden.
Facing this unexpected crisis, she once again sought Kalam Initiative’s support, this time to help cover the cost of medical equipment, including a four-function deluxe electric bed and a ripple mattress, totalling RM4,150 for her brother’s care.
Understanding the immense burden she carries, Kalam Initiative stepped in to provide the necessary assistance, ensuring her brother receives the care he needs.
